Sweeney Park

The Sweeney Park Playground was fenced off for well over a year and then completely removed without a coordinated plan to replace it.
This was not acceptable, in today’s day and age with the advent of digital distractions like the iPad, Smart Phone, and Video Games we must ensure our Children have fun challenging outdoor recreational opportunities more now than ever!
A playground was installed by the School Board, and another one is now planned to be installed by the City.
